 the young adult ministry of victorious life church We strive to create an environment where: We attack hard issues. We discuss difficult life issues, God's take on them, and how He shows us that in the Bible. However, we don't focus solely on the temporal aspects of this life and let them bog us down, but we study the transcendent things of our infinite God and how they apply to our everyday lives. We are real and vulnerable. We recognize that we won’t be perfect until Heaven, but that God expects us to strive for holiness and right living. We study and practice true discipleship in which we both corporately and individually pursue God and help each other grow in a non-condescending and non-judgmental fashion. Therefore, more mature Jesus-followers, newer ones, and people who are searching can come together and help each other grow as we all pursue God and the life to which He has called us. We welcome questions. We invite people to bring questions about God, the Bible, and Christianity, knowing that truly searching for God means asking hard questions, exercising faith to believe the answers we find, and finding peace in the fact that God is awe-inspiring, mysterious, and impossible to fully comprehend. We worship. We come together to corporately worship our God and learn how to worship Him with our lives. We realize that worship is not just singing songs, but selflessly devoting our lives to God and actively living for His honor. We are active. This is a time when people discover who they really are and learn how to deal with other people. Hence it is vital that we can do so in the context of a loving, accepting, and challenging Christ-centered, Great Commission-minded community of people who are on the same page. We are active in fun events and trips, but we are also active in ways that cause us to look outside of ourselves, such as servant evangelism and community service. I am so glad that you've decided to check us out. I'm sure by now you've glanced over the description of who we are, and while it might seem that we're all about a bunch of stuff, our focus is short and sweet: searching for Jesus and becoming who He wants us to be. We're trying to figure out as much as we can about who Jesus is and how He lived so that we can implement as much of that into our own lives as we possibly can. This is a time in your life when you're probably experiencing a lot of change. It's probably a time when you're solidifying your views and philosophies on life, and we're here to help you do that in the context of a Christ-centered community.
